Storyboard Test for Oddbot

After signing up for a storyboarding panel with WIA, I had the option to do a storyboard test for Oddbot Inc. There were a couple of scripts to choose from for the test, and I went with the one for a CG animated production - a Netflix show called Action Pack. It was a valuable experience on a couple of levels and I'm really glad I did it.

My main critique on myself for this project was that I hadn't managed to get to making all the drawings look as polished as I would have liked, even considering I tried to prioritize the most important panels and story beats in the sequence and finish those first. If I were to go back and try to animate from these boards I would definitely need to complete the expressions on the characters for the whole sequence first.

But overall I'm pleased with how I was able to get the action of the scene to go - the script left a lot of freedom up to the board artist, which was very exciting to get to work with.
